In Duitsland vindt tussen vrijdag 14 juni en zondag 14 juli het EK plaats. Na 51 wedstrijden is de nieuwe Europese kampioen dan bekend. Voor het Nederlands elftal start het toernooi op zaterdag 16 juni met een groepswedstrijd tegen Polen in Hamburg. Mee Met Oranje zet hieronder het volledige speelschema op een rij.
De groepsfasewordt afgewerkt van vrijdag 14 juni tot en met woensdag 26 juni. Elk land speelt drie wedstrijden en in totaal staan er 36 duels op het programma. Alle nummers één en twee gaan automatisch door naar de achtste finales. Daarnaast gaan ook de vier beste nummers drie door naar de knock-outfase, die begint op zaterdag 29 juni. De finale is op zondag 14 juli in het Olympiastadion in Berlijn. Er wordt géén troostfinale gespeeld.
